Additionally, by rotating both pods out of the way (as opposed to flipping the device onto the helmet), the user can quickly collapse both pods for fast use without needing to flip the goggle down from the helmet. Additionally, it provides more flexibility for servicing the device (ex. replacing a scratched or damaged lens) or upgrading the lenses to a lightweight alternative.
