The Eyecup Retaining Ring screws into the back of the any PVS-14 eyepiece assembly and allows the user to attach a rubber eye cup to the back of the eyepiece. Many binoculars, including RNVGs and DTNVS also use PVS-14 optics. Eyecup retaining rings are compatible with any standard PVS-14 optic.
